Houston is ranked around #170 by USNWR and LSU is like #140. That is pretty comparable. Especially since certain programs that both schools are known for flip flop rankings.
Think about that for a second, LSU gets the lions share of funding in Louisiana and can’t break into the top 100 rankings in the country. Anything outside of the top 50, isn’t something to brag about.
