You are putting your faith In the same admins that didn't want to fire miles last year because it would look "mean spirited". You really expect these same people to not cave to pressure when fans and boosters are banging down their doors to hire coach o?

Well that's the case with every coaching search and it's what makes it fun/stressful for us common folk. I will continue to believe LSU is a top 5 job that can get a top coach until we settle for O. Then I'll cheer like hell for O.

I think admins wanted to see how the team Would react after a bama loss. And say what you want but making the sugar bowl is still a big deal to a lot of people in Louisiana.

Im worried that O is our 3rd choice. Id go through about 15-20 names before i got to O.
Hopefully theyre just floating his name around to keep the momentum going this season, but no real intention of hiring him long term.

I don't think Herman has LSU as his number one opportunity. It's probably Jimbo or bust at this point.

You are 100% correct.
Jimbo or Herman would have to turn us down AND O would have to win the last 2 games for O to get the job. Even then, he may not get it over Fedora/Gundy.
