The over 70 and under 10 crowd are the dumbest of the dumb, imo.

Dinardo was not a disaster. He did some good things. I know he finished weak, but calling him a disaster is hyperbole.

I am over 40 and I hope he doesn't leave, but if he does I understand.

It's not that I dislike him. I was hoping he wouldn't consider the MI position. However, it appears to me that as much as he continues to say he loves LSU and is happy hear, he has not said, he is not interested in the MI position. Now, he interviewing for the MI position meaning he isn't 100% LSU. LSU will SURVIVE CLM leaving. I'm getting tired of this game he's playing. Fire his arse and move on.

Usually wisdom comes with age.........usually.

The fact that he is talking to MI makes me wonder coupled also to the fact that he has not definitively said he is staying. I feel that it is more likely that he will return to Michigan, and I feel they will pay him whatever he wants becuase the school is embarassed by its performance over the last five or six years and the drama of the last three years. It's hard to imagine a "player revolt" in college football, but it happened there with R Rod. They want him as a recruiter plus they have this idea that only a "Michigan man" can turn it around. This is odd considering that Miles grew up in Ohio. I have heard no names other than Michigan connected people.

He will forfeit a great recruiting class with real potential at qb, Crowton or no Crowton. His true freshman dbs are outstanding with great potential. He has rbs that are beyond good and talented. There is work to do for next year, but this team has beaucoup talent with more on the way.

Michigan will a be rebuilding challenge with a two year minimum for resurrection to the holy grail of defeating Ohio State each and every year. He can do it though and win in his first year, but recruiting has its demographic foot in the south, not so much in the north anymore since the demise of heavy industries such as cars, steel, and coal. He will have to go farther and wider to get the great talent. He won't dip into TX, LA, AL, GA, and FL quite so easily. Hard to talk a kid who never saw snow before into going into the frozen tundra of the midwest.

I am 62 and I HOPE HE STAYS. The trip down memory lane looking at previous coaches gave me pause. Stovall, Dinardo, and Hallman were decent people, but the fans suffered during those years. I would prefer not to relive it. If one of the players is reading this, print it out and give it to your coach. He needs to be here with a chance to have a Bobby Bowden typoe of career and longevity.
