ya know ... here's the thing .... if you or anyone else posting on here had any sort of say-so, or influence w/ Alleva, then you would be well-advised to express your sentiments to him. Otherwise, if Pelini is the hire, and that's an IF, are you really bashing the guy before he's even coached a down?? Really?

Were you jacked when LSU hired Miles in 2005? I had never heard of the guy. I thought we were going to hire Petrino, next thing I hear, Petrino pissed off Skip in the interview, but this guy Les Miles (who had just lost his bowl game to Oh St) impressed Skip. Les has done a good, no, great job at LSU, but if he wants to go home to coach his alma mater, he should go. Frankly, Pelini is a more solid hire for LSU than Miles was for LSU, in 2005, if you follow me.

And do I even dare mention that Pelini lost to Mack Brown, Bob Stoops, Mike Sherman, and fricking Sarkisian in the Bowl game.

What exactly is it you think you are adding with this statement?

You are just building your case as being a fricking moron.

Some of these people would bitch if Joe hired Jon Gruden. They'd be bitching if Saban returned.

You maybe right, but Les has proven to be a good recruiter and Pelini has proven to be a bad one...even when he was here. and at the end of the day, recruiting good athletes is the name of the game in the SEC.

First off, Bo coached LBers for 2 NFL teams there genius.

So he could easily replace Chavis.

Brick has coached both DL and LBers at the collegiate level.

Why would that equal them automatically being released?

You missed here , nobody gives a frick who you think would be a good hire.

If you were anybody important, or had any knowledge of what the frick is good or bad, you wouldn't be posting your bullshite.

How the frick can you tell Pelini would be a bad hire if he has never coached a game at LSU?

Let me say politely, STFU

and you are being a class A douche. Nebraska was a top 5 team when it lost to Texas. at home. And again in the bowl game, he couldn't keep his team motivated to play a Washington team Nebraska had beaten before.

And LSU was ranked 5th before they lost to Arkansas....it happens.

Which way has the Nebraska program headed under Pelini?

Don't try to talk sense into this fricking idiot.

He has no fricking clue what he's talking about. When Miles was hired, it was much more questionable than Pelini would be.

No it isn't. The fact is, Pelini had Nebraska in the top 5, somewhere they were far from when he took over a few years ago. That team is on an upward trend.

Texas had a miserable season, but they didn't lack talent being less than one year removed from the BCSNCG.
