Well ISU definitely got the better deal out of this trade off with Auburn.

Why would ISU take any heat? Gill signed a 3 yr extension at Buffalo and said that he would not be a candidte for any HC vacancy this year.

clemson was supposedly down to chavis or rhoads and not announcing until after their bowl...so could be chavis to clemson, but i guess rhoads getting a head coaching job overrules clemson, but we shall see

And what the hell has Paul Rhoads proven that Chizik hasn't? Chizik was a better DC than Rhoads, and nothing is known about Rhoads' ability as a head coach.

Chizik has proven he isn't worth a crap as a HC. In this case, the unknown would have to bring more optimism than the known.
