According to WAFB and others, as recently as this morning, Michigan AD contacted Miles agent and agent confirmed that Miles was staying put. According to news sources Miles new contract goes to the Board of Supervisors this Thursday for approval.

Some people don't know when to stop. But if the contract draft is done, if I were the LSU Board of Supervisors, I would not particularly see a good reason to wait until Thursday to do the signing ceremony. In the world of greed and football head-hunting, it's always good to get loose ends tucked in nicely, and in a timely way.

Just read the article. The shite he's saying is just a way of him crawfishing about him telling recruiting services what they wanted to hear. It's a cop out. He never was coming here. He was just taking advantage of the free trips schools were handing to him. No big deal.

It's not the ceremony that they're waiting on. It's the Board meeting to approve the deal. The meeting is scheduled for Thursday. The members of the Board have other obligations that make rescheduling problematic. Plus, if Les, after all that's been said, were to renege now, it's for damn sure you'd hold the door for him and kick him in the arse on the way out. It's not an issue. It's over.

I think people that have been recruiting negative and scaring LSU recruits with the Michigan job for the past 3 years are not ready to let it go. They got nothing now.

I understand the process, thanks. But I also understand these Board members can speed up their schedules and their obligations, if they want to. In a case like this, where there might be even the slightest speculation still going on, if I were a board member I'd consider this a major priority move, and have a brief called meeting for this one reason, regardless of what was "scheduled" or when.

I think people are missing the point here. Even if he signs it, he could still leave if he wanted to. He made it clear he doesnt want to leave and Michigan made it clear they no longer want him.
