The Jimbo deal and the Mulkey deal fell into his lap. He didn't have to do anything but be in the right place and the right time with an open checkbook. He's like a guy who won the lottery and everybody thinks he's a financial genius.
Woodward has never had to actually go out and lure a high profile coach against opposition from the coach's current school, other schools and the coach himself. He didn't know what he was up against. What's worse, he was too arrogant to realize it. He was a fish sitting down at a high stakes poker table.

Why don’t we just see who the new coach is going to be.
What does seem apparent is the Riley camp pushed the LSU story so he would be asked about that and not job openings in general.
Regardless this is why myself and others kept saying if the deal isn’t closed, it is NOT a done deal, even though you and others repeatedly said that.

And you know this how? Funny that all of these so called insiders didn’t have any good info when Alleva’s sorry arse was running things now people think those same guys have sources under someone who runs a tight ship like Woodward? GTFOH
For all anybody knows our guy has had a contract the whole time. People need to quit pissing and moaning until some actual concrete info or a hire is announced.
