OU had to know Riley mind was made up that he was leaving. That’s why u never heard of a counter offer. They didn’t leak to not distract team. However, Someone from usc leaked Riley to LSU to create smoke screen. Usc conducted a masterful search Bc no one predicted or talked about Riley to usc. I think Pete Themel knew that’s why he knew riley wasn’t coming to LSU and was the first to break the riley to usc story

I’m sure the top brass has known for a week or more but didn’t know where he was going. That’s the only explanation as to how they already have a replacement they’re pursuing
