Orgeron's "Love for LSU"--Do We Remember Tennessee?

He had committed to coming to LSU as DL coach when? 2010? Then he shafted us and flew the coop to Tennessee with Kiffen.
Sure didn't seem like he "loved" LSU then.
Now look, I have nothing against a guy advancing his career how he thinks best, but spare us the bullshite that he "loves LSU" and therefore deserves the job.

This is why any person in an administration position that lets uninformed fans influence their decision should be fired.

If we hire anyone but Herman or Jimbo, the administration needs to be fired by the end of the week

Get you facts right....O had the TN deal before Les even got him a formal offer. He wanted to come to LSU, but Les' "clock management" ruined the deal. He wanted LSU and stated that while working for the Saints, but Les did not pounce on it.
So if you do not like the guy or do not want him coaching LSU then just say so. But do not misrepresent his character and love for the school.

Lane Kiffin hired Orgeron in 2009 when he was named the Vols head coach. Upon arriving Knoxville to begin working, Orgeron received a job offer from then-LSU coach Les Miles.

Nope, he was offered more at LSU but had already told Kiffin he'd accept a job at Tennessee.

He turned out to be severely mentally ill. Possibly a sociopath. It was petty sad.

His own best friend who he grew up eating garfish balls with said the LSU job was his if he wanted it. He didn't want it and wanted to stick it to lsu with Lane.

He never got an offer from LSU until he had already accepted the TN deal and moved to Knoxville. Facts are an inconvenient thing.

A newspaper printing what ogre told them to isn't a confirmed fact FYI.

Is that what you would expect from someone who bleeds purple and gold and was offered their dream job? The real answer is he's an opportunist. A master persuader that makes him a great recruiter and our local media are too blind to see that he traded them access and information to leverage them into a chance at a job he has no business being in contention for.
