Tennessee: Reports are that Tennessee will name Lane Kiffin head football coach on Monday. Despite many rumors, FootballScoop has learned at this point that Ed Orgeron does not plan to join Kiffin’s staff. Orgeron is in his first year as the defensive line coach with the New Orleans Saints. Kiffin’s first move in assembling a staff is a likely offer to Southern Miss assistant Frank Wilson.

If he hires Wilson it should tell you he's planning on trying to exploit La. With Orgeron and Wilson being thrown around, it looks like he's going to try to put a big focus on the state.

I don't knwo if Coach O would have really fit in at UT anyway. Can you imagine him tryign to see the fight song?

Not that their word is gospel, but Gordy said it and now Mike Detillier said that BEBE Orgeron is going to Tennessee as DL and Monte as DC.
He better not come into LA to try and recruit.

He will join, and will recruit the hell out of Lousiana and Florida. Kiffin wil take care of Cali and west, and Reaves will take care of the Northeast.

I'm in the camp where I'd like to see LSU hire O as a D-Line coach, but I think O would benefit being on LSU's staff more than vice versa. He couldn't take players from us when he was head coach of a SEC school in a bordering state.

he stockpiled a good bit of talent at a piece of shite bottomfeeder SEC school. Houston Nutt jumped on that job pretty quick.
