What are the chances Miles names someone in the program to DC?
And if so who?
I wouldn't be surprised if he named Cooper...

IF Chavis would leave (which I HIGHLY doubt), I would love a guy like Shannon. Great defensive mind and another good way to get into the state of Florida

I like Cooper a lot and wouldn't be pissed if he were given a shot, but Shannon would have to be the clear cut #1 target

If it happen, then you could look at promoting from within.
But he would give you your best shot at winning another BCSNC, which would only give your program more credibility and increase your ability to hire and attract the best candidates out there

I imagine Shannon won't get a shot at a HC gig anytime soon. His regime at Miami was pretty disastrous.
