Only way I’m taking Kevin Steele back to LSU

I’ll say it again about Steele
He was literally our DC once before and was literally worse than the guy before and the guy after. And the guy before is literally coaching middle school now.
Hard pass.

Based on his one year under Miles?
He’s not an exciting hire, but the guy is a good to great DC. Probably the best in the SEC over the last few years.
That said, I don’t think he’s even on the radar.

I view him as a neutral option. I did not think he was that great at AU. Gus was terrible at offense, so his D numbers were inflated. He also was not great at recruiting. Muschamp brought in some talent and Steele dropped after those guy left. However, if O misses on a few more guys, Steele could be a safer option.

Of course he's not. You think he just pissed off only the fans? He left after one season for a reason. That bridge is burned and nobody at LSU wants him back.

the bottom line is no coach is going to listen to any fan on choosing a another period. they will choose who they want not you, thats why their the coach your not. hes going to choose who ever he believes is the right fit. ya'll come on the forum and you think he should choose you guy, but he doesn't care what no fan thinks about choosing coaches. all though he should. he doesn't, we just need to wait and be patient on him.

He held the best LSU team in history to 23 points. No other DC from 2019 can say that, and we beat a couple of good teams that year.
