This LSU coaching search has made some generational wealth for a few coaches that Woodward probably called once or twice doing his due diligence and nothing more. At the end of the day, this tells you one thing........
The LSU job is one of the top 3 jobs in all of college football and probably the most coveted among the coaching circles.

Lots of dudes getting big raises for just being good not elite.

Doesn’t mean much to have a top 3 job on paper if we can’t land a top 3 coach.

Just because they respect LSU’s presence and resources doesn’t mean LSU can’t get outmaneuverred and having to settle for an inferior coach. Hell, it’s kinda how we ended up here.
