And Miles isn't currently under contract? This has no bearing on whether a coach will come here or not.

jimbo would have a good offense. he would probably keep chavis. he is a great recruiter and already has all of the contacts with local high school coaches.

Why does this matter? Posters keep saying this about Jimbo and Patterson but nobody realizes that it just doesn't matter.

I don't think people realize how much Jimbo and Saban loved it in BR. Saban is a entirely different subject but Jimbo liked it as well. He stayed several years where it looked like he was going to bolt but he liked it here and he was hoping LSU would call to make him head coach. I'm not sure he'd make a lateral move again but you know LSU is in much better shape than FSU at this point. Jimbo hasn't fully proven himself as a gameday coach yet but he has done more than Bowden has with FSU recently. He can develop QB, good offense and he is a great recruiter. He is one of the few candidates I see as being almost complete.
