Im wondering if lsu reached out privately to kiffin a week or two before that day to feel out interest. May have helped in the decision.

Not sure I buy that story, after the A&M game it became when not if.
Scott was only apprehensive about doing it because he knew it likely meant he was done as well.
Scott had to insert himself into the program and build a FO for Kelly ( AT returning) because his legacy hire was so checked out

Ever since Foley retired that whole athletic program has gone down hill it seems.
I live in FL and that’s kinda the sentiment I pick up when talking to them.
