What makes anyone believe Aranda is capible of being head coach after all this shite falls on O’s head? I mean obviously a great defense coordinator but does he even want to be a head coach? Settle down settle down

THIS is what you are concerned with at the moment?

Aranda is a risk, not nearly as much as O. The thing us, you know you would always have a great defense. And he would most likely hire a good OC and actually let him coach. because, you know, he's not a dumb arse

The word has been since he was hired that he doesn’t want to be a head coach. Maybe that has changed, but I doubt it.

Ponamsky makes him a binder with the agreement to keep him on staff in the same capacity as he has now

If O is only as good as Aranda, why have O? I’d be perfectly fine with Aranda as HC. I trust his intuition.

Nobody is saying to force him into the role. Offer it to him or go get someone else. I think 90% of the fan base just wants someone other than O. Those 10% are Facebook women or guys that are 'special'.

I think Aranda has proven he has the ability to manage, build, and maintain a defense. He's done it and done it well at several different schools. There's no guarantee that translates in to successfully running a program, but it does reflect well on him and his ability to manage a team.

Well he is already associate head coach. I think there are very few coaches out there that wouldn't take the opportunity if offered. Especially at a place like LSU. The worst case scenario for him is he doesn't do well, and goes back to being a great DC. I have heard people on here say he doesn't want to be a HC, but never anything more than that.

There's a risk with anyone, particularly someone with no HC experience.

There's no sure thing.
