He really produced at great defense at OSU this year. Pretty impressive.

I guess good hire.

It's a great hire for them, he's a fantastic coach.

He was the DC at Duke when they won 10 games and played in the ACC championship game under Cutcliffe.

It's official now from reports. I think it's a good hire but it's impossible to know if he is a good DC or an elite DC.

OSU can stop average offenses without being good. They need to be able to limit good/elite offenses

The two defenses in the Baylor-OSU game were among the best coached I've seen in a single game.

They done brought defense back to the Big-12.

When we all thought it was a done deal with Riley, it was a day or two before Bedlam, and I made the comment that he should recruit Knowles to come over with him after the game.

A Riley/Knowles combo might have been interesting. Oh well. I'll take Kelly/ELKO.

Exactly. How many elite offenses is Ohio State facing each year?

I mean LSU got blown out by UCLA this season…who is much worse than iowa. But keep on bringing up games from a half decade ago

Michigan was 13th and Michigan State was 39th in scoring offense.
