The Ravens have outstanding skill position players and a decent QB. Sure Flacco has his issues but he can still sling the ball around. The Ravens offense has been lost in the limbo of no identity all year. He never gave his offense an identity. The Raven best offensive game was against the Saints. He built the game plan around Rice and expanded the offense around that. But then Rice vanishes off again into just another one of the great skill position players the Ravens have after that game. It was just frustrating watching the Raven all year have so much offensive potential and never seeing it pan out.

weren't they 12-4 with a bunch of dinosaur WRs? Against one of the most difficult divisions/schedules in football...oh wait.

I like cam cam. I would hope he would come to death valley, but why would he need to leave the NFL? Is he onmthe hot seat? As for the other two guys that would be a step up right? We will see I guess

Fuente 1st probably depending on how much of the offense at TCU is really his.

Awesome. You have no idea how involved Fuente has been at TCU, yet you have him above a proven NFL coordinator.

Tomlinson and Brees would argue that Cameron can help lead the NFL in offense.

Said last week it was pretty common knowledge up here Cam is done in Baltimore if they didn't make the AFC Champ game. Fantastic at preparation/game planning, but has done a shitty job of adjusting his schemes when things are going wrong in his stay in Baltimore.

What is Cam's record as a QB coach?
And I wonder if he can recruit well?

oh noz you spoke ill of baby jeebus aka cc. release the flying monkeys.

seriously this exactly my criticism of cc, i really dislike his on the fly playcalling. oh well, if we hire him at least he will coach up the qb and playcalls will be better than crowterd.

Here's a link to after his regular season loss to the Steelers. Seems like there's a good chance he's gone after the end of the season.

Just read where he was a high school all-american QB and a QB coach in college and the nfl. Should be a solid QB coach if hired. Seems like a good OC who is a terrible head coach.

Gus Ferrotte to the Pro Bowl
Antwan Randle-El to All-American at Indiana
coached Brees and Rivers early in their career, setting club records in San Diego.

Considering how close Miles and Cameron supposedly are, I could see Cameron at LSU next year. He at least will be heavily considered by Miles I think. Does anyone know who has been interviewed so far?

The ones "reported" are Fuente and Blake Anderson form Southern Miss.

However, anyone who reports to know anything doesn't know anything because Miles and Co. have gone super top secret on this deal.

I don't think anything will slip out until it's done. Let's buckle up our patience pants.

The complexity of defensive schemes in the NFL is waaaaaaay above the complexity in college football.

I am sold on Cameron due to his time at Indiana when he had Jay Rodgers and Randle-El. He displayed a Pro Style with Rodgers and went to more of an option attack with Randle-El. My only thing is he handled the Rodgers benching bad though, but I only know one side of that story.

Ok, where did I question his ability? He'd run shite in college, he's done a great job in the pros, but he just wasn't doing it for Baltimore.

he calls screen after screen

there would be mass confusion on the 1st screen play called, as one has not been called in the lst 3 or 4 years. whoever is hired for the OC slot will only have so much leeway in calling plays anyway. the real offensive genius will always be miles
