15 minutes later, I still think Saban.
No sources, though. Just a gut feeling.

Art Briles or James Franklin.

O'Brien would put Saban in play for Penn State. He's from the area. May want to retire there.
Just throwing that nut out there for the bammers. After Joe Paterno left I mentioned it while visiting a friend in Tuscaloosa one time. Didn't realize it was a sensitive issue.

I like that y'all think we're kidding about this. They will not hire a black head coach. End of discussion.

People say the same thing about Alabama. To them I also say

Wrong skin color. The racism there makes Ole Miss seem like BET.

We'll see. The timing will tell you a lot.
If they're quiet for a couple weeks, it'll tell you they're trying to be very quiet about discussions they're having with someone with a January Bowl game.
Unless Nick shuts it down, Sexton will float his name back up. We're liable to be out another mil a year....which is ok, we've got it.
I doubt Auburn is through paying Malzahn, remember his agent is Sexton too. I very seriously doubt he'd leave, but 3.5 will probably become 4.5 or more before all is said and done I think.
Dantonio or Gundy would be the two prime candidates I think. God help us all if Sexton represents them too.

Alabama has a black men's basketball coach. Texas would never do that either.
The one black head coach in the entire history of their athletic department is about to sue the shite out of them for double standards in punishment.

Most people on here have no idea how Texass actually works.
They don't need to hire a coach with Texas high school ties. Texas has the advantage of having pipelines into high schools throughout Texas regardless of who the coach is.
They aren't hiring an NFL guy either. This is just Texas fan bullshite thinking they are such a draw a guy would leave the NFL to come coach them.
You were spot on last week.

I would love to see Dabo at Texas. See if he has the balls to cut it at a big time program before he gets a shot at the pinnacle of college football.

ChuckCarltonDMN: Lot of names being thrown around for Texas. One to keep in mind: Jim Mora Jr. Heard Steve Patterson was impressed with him in Pac-12.
ChuckCarltonDMN: RT @BFeldmanCBS: Names I think could be in play for #Texas vacancy: Jimbo Fisher, Jim Harbaugh, Jim Mora, James Franklin & Mike Tomlin
