what kind of offense does conque run? isn't he a spread guy?
Monken and miles would probably be on the same page
koetter is a throw first one-back guy, not quite miles style, but he would still be good

All you are looking for is a OC not a HC. Manny would use the Iowa/K State offense that is a bitch to stop...and he likes to go no huddle.

If I was looking though and wanted someone to run my offense its still Beck from NU and Manny. They have tweaked the Iowa/K-State offense and successfully put up big numbers where they have been.

Now koetter would be an interesting name if say the Jags tank down the stretch and that staff is replaced. Might be too big of a personality for Miles though

Why is Koetter so appealing? Is it his time with ASU, Boise and the Jags? If someone was going to go that route I think former BC coach would be an easier grab and better fit.

His name came up when I was discussing this with a friend of ours. He helped with the OL when a friend of mine was senior on one of curly's teams. He has good things to say about him. But what I want to know is would he leave a NFL OC position to be a OC at LSU?

he got fired before the year even started in Tampa. I don't think he has a job at all. Doubt he'd even want an OC job in college, he could probably get a head job somewhere like Louisville unless the BC shite just totally scares ADs away.

Mangino is a joke as a offensive coach. He is offensive to be around. He road the coat tails of Lattimer, Miller, Long, Snyder, etc and really accomplished little

what was kansas before he got there. yeah. nothing.

Here's some stuff to chew on:

Jagodzinski or however it's spelled is more than likely gonna end up in the NFL, maybe not as a coordinator, but as a position coach for sure.

While I love Borges and everything he did for us, his problem is his playcalling becomes VERY predictable, but if he has the athletes, even if you know what's coming, it's very hard to stop.

I think Shula in a position where he's not in charge of a whole team could be good, but I don't think he's ever been a coordinator.

Applewhite wouldn't be a great fit. It would basically be the same type of offense y'all have with Crowton, but not as successful.

If LSU decides to make a change, and chooses to hire a more pro style coordinator who also uses good elements of the spread, then y'all will be dangerous on offense and a problem for defenses in the SEC.

Just quit, you revealed your football knowledge with this suggestion.

Glanville is a defensive coach.

Matt Viator (McNeese State HC) I'm going to keep saying it. Its just a matter of time before he makes the move up. Either as a Coordinator or Head Coach of a Mid-Major. Miles offered him a position coach spot a couple of years ago, but he declined.
I've been following McNeese over the last several years (brother is playing there) the guy is very impressive.
I think all of the McNeese fans on here would agree and would hate to lose him.
