Odds that Tuberville will get the ax

In all likelihood AU will finish off the season 5-7 with losses to UGA and Bama. The team has given up on him.
If I'm not mistaken, he recently completed a new 9000 square foot mansion near Auburn with the hope that he will be finishing out his career at Auburn. (He also has 2 young children years away from graduating from High school).
If he does get axed, does he continue coaching and head to a place like Clemson or does he move to a career in the broadcast booth?

My guess is that this is his last job. I believe that he gets a pass this year, and next year he gets canned if he doesn't win the SEC West.

Pretty good assessment there Chicken….I think Tub’s gets one more year to turn things around….I think he will have to make some drastic changes of the offensive side of the ball (coaching wise)…

I don't get that. It's been an OC carousel over there. They weren't going to get much more of a drastic change in philosophy then Franklin. They gave him half a year. What will be the new change? Goalline formation.

IMO Tubby will need to hire an offensive coordinator and let that coordinator bring in his personal to run the offense. For Example, I think if Tony Franklin was allowed to bring in his personal and not forced to work with the “BBQ Mafia” things on the offensive side of the ball may have been a little better this year than what they are

Couldn't agree more. I just don't get all this change, change, change talk. Hell Auburn sounds like their the driving force behind Obama's platform. They've tried the Spread, Power I, West Coast offense and by the time their done they'll have invented the east coast, south coast, and driven up to norther alaska to discover the North coast offense.

Ohh I'd say the chances that Tuberville gets the axe are about 0.0. I think folks are putting waaaaaaaaay to much stock into one season. Tubs is a great coach. He's won the SEC west 5 out of the last 10 years, and the SEC once, and got absolutely screwed on not getting into the national title game.
Name one other coach that has been this consistent over the past 10 years. Change for the sake of change could yield MUCH worse results.

I agree 100%. I dont think any OC in their right mind would come to Auburn anyway if they couldnt bring their assistants with them. Auburn is turning into the black hols for OC's.
We have needed to get rid of all the assistants anyway. The problem is Gran is a good recruiter but not the best coach. Nall is a good coach but awful recruiter. Knox is awful in both. I am a big fan of old tubs (the one who would fake punt on the 20)and hope he can stay. However I would be very suprised if he does. I think he will force Auburn to make the decision.

That guy died at LSU in 2003 when Chad Lavalais dropped Cadillac Williams for a 5 yard loss on 4th and 1 at the LSU 48 yard line on Auburn's first drive. That fired up the team and enabled us to blow you guys out of the building. :)

the SEC recognizes it…....and actually Bama does….. back when LSU, Auburn, & Alabama all 3 tied for the west (can’t remember the year)...

I bet when it all comes out in the end we will find out that pussy is what has Tubbs fricked up. I hear his wife is slinging the monkey and always has. Tubbs is probably in the middle of a divorce. Its the power of the puss. (evil)
