I would think Nutt may want to move. I have to think, with the exception of Pelini, the coaching in the Big 12 North is inferior to the SEC West.
Interesting perspective. K-State has a nice billboard on I-70 with Bill Snyder that reads "Because the hall of fame can wait..."

Apparently Turner Gill has the lead right now. Harbaugh's name is still being thrown around, but Stanford's AD has come out and said he will not be the next head coach at ND.
This is from one of the ESPN Insiders blogs that I picked up from a KU board.

Seriously, Pelini at Neb, Snyder is gone in a couple of years, Hawkins at Col on his last leg, Pinkel at Missou and Paul Rhoads at Iowa State.
Compare that to Petrino, Miles, Saban, Mullen and well, Chizk. Also have to compete against Spurrier, Meyer, Kiffin & Richt in the East on a rotating basis.
Where would you rather be?

Why would He want to leave Ole' Miss for Kansas?

All over the KC news tonight. I doubt Nutt is really interested, but it really helps KU to say that a decent coach from a semi-successful program is interested in their job. No way him or anyone else established gets here. Turner Gill is the most likely candidate, just because he needs a stepping stone.

have you seen ole miss next year?

perhaps he wants to get out as O's talent is leaving, or another fat extension because it may be his last
I guess that 38 player signing class isn't working out for him

I don't know. That's why I asked the question.

Lew needs to knock one out of the park for real. Gill may be the most likely candidate, but KU's got money to burn, and they can do better.

The Rant would explode. We have enough what is saban doing threads. Imagine the What is miles doing threads.
Sadly, nutt is getting leverage and I expect him to get a new contract that rewards him 3 million a year.

Nutt is ready to bolt from Ole Piss now. Hes doing it before their true "decline" back to being typical Ole Piss. Guy can't recruit for shite but hes a decent coach for what he has. Knows hes living on Ogre/Wilson recruits and they're leaving, so hes gotta strike while hes still considered a decent coach.
Don't expect anything less than a 4 loss season though. His teams will get hot at the end of the year and just go through brain farts at the beginning. Happened at Arkansas and is about to happen at Ole Piss. Because hes so lazy of a recruiter...he can't sustain his programs past mediocrity.
decent coach+lazy arse recruiter=4 loss season and nothing better
He got lucky one time in his career with two homeruns in Felix Jones and Mcfadden. Basically winning games all by themselves somehow.
