Not sure why we bickering over coach O right now ?

I mean he has one meaningful game, ole miss, won since he toke over . The next 4 will tell the story. If he beats Bama then let the debate get rolling to keep the job. If he loses in a close game and is able to get the team up to win the next few, unlike les, then LSU has a tough choice. Im still on the fence but dang we have 4 more games to watch lets let this play out. Either way the decision will have to be made before a possible bowl game for recruiting. I think this scares me the most with the LSU Admins

That's a fair argument.
However, all of the "hire Coach O" talk is premature because he's not close to 6-1 yet.

I am not a coach O fan. I think Herman or Petersen are the best choices for our job. However, If O is the pick, I won't be upset.

I mean, the guy has not even been away from the friendly confines of TS and he won't be for 3 more weeks

I don't know, some of the luster has come off Herman and Jimbo is the only other really big name people want. If Fl. State loses another game or two, his luster will fade too. On the other hand, if O beast Bama and wins out, I think he will have the fans won over.
