Before we all melt, let’s just wait and see who it is. Riley may want to speak to his team first, may not wish to announce immediately after a painful loss. If it is not him, I trust SW to hire someone who will be great. It may be someone we weren’t expecting…Everyone take deep breaths and calm down.

I’m not sure if “great” is out there still. Campbell is your best option now and that’s above average at best even though most people here think way to highly of him.

Moscona said if it is not LR, he was hearing it would be Stoops. Many will melt if it is him, but I think Stoops would be a home run hire. He has done amazing things at UK with 2 stars and 3 stars. Let’s be patient and see what happens over the next day or so.

Edit: why in God's name would any ad want stoops over a kiffin. Stoops gets you 9 or 10 wins no hardware. Kiffin would win championships here.

Why would a coach like Riley come to LSU knowing this fan base would expect nothing less than a NC in year 2. He can stay at Oklahoma, receive a huge raise, win 10 games a year, and everyone there will be happy.
