I don’t. No one does.
However, I do think he is one of the top 5 defensive minds in college football and will excel as a head coach. In a few years, the excuse of lack of experience will be gone.

I should have said that if he continues to improve, he may work his way on to “a future opponent’s coaching search list”. I would hate that to be bama when they start looking for Saban’s replacement.

I like Aranda and would be good with him being hired. However, this short list shite is a terrible take and worse if its a reason. The “short list” changes every year for every team. Don’t forget Boom was Coach in waiting for UT.

I agree. I should have worded it differently. I shouldn’t have assumed that everyone would view it as speculation since Saban is still coaching with no retirement date set and that bama doesn’t have a short list.

My post was about hating to lose on Aranda now in the assumption that he may go to someone like bama in the future.
I admit I should have worded it differently and should not have assumed that the board would read it as speculation since Saban is still actively coaching.
