Really hope we can keep him for a while.

Maybe not in the SEC. Not yet, anyway. But letting Aranda fly the coop to another Power Five team, from which he could make a transition back to the SEC, has to be a consideration. Not that the Tigers should be held hostage by the idea, but it has to be part of the discussion.

Exactly. Rock and a hard place. Sounds crazy to give him his first head gig at LSU, but you know he'll be there eventually.

He's a stud. I just hope he doesn't take a SEC head coaching job anytime soon.

I would rather aranda over O but...let's remember The absolutely loaded veteran roster on D he has. It won't be that way next year.

White. Beckwith. Neal. Godchaux...jefferson...Adams... thomas all gone.

Hadn't realized he coached under Art Briles. Makes you wonder if they maintained any type of relationship.

LSU's defense will still have a lot of veteran players especially if Lacouture and Thompson are back.

Gilmore, Lacouture, Herron, Thompson, Jackson, Toliver, Battle

give him a full year with out athletes and I have little doubt what the man can do.. I still say if you cant get Jimbo or Gundy or Morris then you make him the HC and let him bring in a Kendal Briles as OC.. would be fricking scary..

Doubt it matters since his track record speaks for itself.
