I don't think Pasqualoni stays on as DC, but he may stay on the staff in some capacity. Clearly CAmpo must be fired as secondary corch.

Anybody hearing anything? I'm hearing that Jerry Brought in Miami DC Todd Bowles for a Rooney Rule HC interview. Could Jerry be considering him for DC?

I wouldn't mind Dave Wannstead coming back but I don't think he would be a good fit to run a 3-4. Only so many guys out there.

Do you think it was the scheme or the players? I was really disappointed in the defense this year!

it's the second one. Jerry knows full well Garrett is going to be the HC and is setting up interviews for Garrett's staff.

They already fulfilled the rooney rule when they interviewed current Cowboys WR coach Ray Sherman.

from what I've read the Cowboys staff will be:

HC: Jason Garrett

OC: Ray Sherman

DC: Todd Bowles

I don't think he wants an asst. job.

both. outside of Ratliff and Ware the defense lacks players. Bradie James is merely average and his best days are quickly fading. Newman cannot play man to man anymore and Jenkins regressed from last year. The biggest issue was Wade was so desperate to rush the passer he routinely brought 6-7 on every play and got torched in the secondary trying to play man coverage. Add to that they had two terrible safeties including Ball who as a lost dog out there all season.

Wade should have swallowed his pride and rushed four and played more zone behind it to eliminate the big plays. That is what they did when Garrett took over and they lots of interceptions in the second half of the season.

They need to focus all energy on the D Lines and O Lines this offseason and bring in a safety and a corner and a quality DC who puts his players in the best position to succeed.
