ND vs Pitt is a big game to watch

Let me throw out this bone.
If ND loses(if so, will most likely be out of the cfp), then "things" will ultimately narrow down, maybe force a hand to be made either way. Pitt is 7-2 and at home today.

Can you elaborate?
Do you mean LSU would feel like they should go after Freeman because they could get him earlier.. ??

This Freeman to LSU seems odd.
I won’t hate it, and he’s young and would have the players bought in.
I’d assume defense would be good.
I just think IF this is even real, it feels like Verge forcing it because they struck out with Lane and Saban.

Freeman is not coming here. LSU doesn’t want him to come here.
I don’t think Freeman would appreciate the “swagger” that LSU teams are so famous for.
Can you imagine how he’d have reacted if he’d been coach when JJ and Chase were here?
Freeman seems humble and reserved. LSU is not.

Saban was never more than a pipe dream of delusional fans.
But if we strike out on Kiffin, Freeman is as good as anyone else out there. And I’m not totally convinced that Lane is THAT MUCH better than him.

Exactly. Both young, both geniuses on their side of the ball. Freeman has the playoff experience over Lane, Lane has the SEC experience over Freeman. Very comparable candidates imo
