If Meyer had announced this 2 weeks ago, Brian Kelly would have been at Florida.

Yep. As an LSU fan, I'd want no part of Kelly at Florida.
Florida fans have to be dizzy right now. No obvious big names out there for the taking. But that job is about as attractive as it gets, so they could land a big name like Stoops. Should be interesting to follow.

I am gonna laugh my arse off when Kelly fails at ND like every other coach has for the last 20 years.

Yeah, Kelly is the same caliber coach as Bob Davie, Ty Willingham, and Weis. Those 3 guys were just stud coaches trapped at the wrong place.
Kelly will win there, and he'd have won huge at Florida. Glad to see that he won't be anywhere near the SEC. I remember people laughing at Meyer in 2004 when Florida hired him. Not sure why they thought that, but some are making the same mistake about Kelly. Also, I think Holtz resigned at the end of the 96 season, so ND has been in mediocrity land for 13 years. Not 20.
