Interesting. Leach should take the job if offered, he could do some damage in the ACC

Leech needs a different school to coach than WSU but I am not sure the answer is NCST. Tech was perfect for him. He would do well in FL, GA, CA or TX, which are hotbeds for recruits. That way he can get the leftovers and actually do well in a system.

Leach isn't as great of a get as you think. What has he done really? I think he is more of a side show than NC State needs right now.

You're crazy if you don't think their are recruits in NC,SC, and VA coast. I know it's not the caliber of Texas, Fla, etc, but there are some football players here. Just ask UGA, their two stud freshman backs are from NC. And to be honest, Chuck Amato's teams at State were almost exclusively Florida kids.

With this being said I don't think Leach is coming to NCSU.

Okay you want to call me crazy for stating the facts? Top 5 states are TX FL GA CA and OH.

So in summary Washington is actually ranked ahead of North Carolina 14 and 15 respectively.

I was surprised he got hired too but now that he is back coaching that takes the stigma off to some degree. The biggest problem is an on going lawsuit. The accusations of abuse are weak.

NC State: I have confirmed the report that has surfaced about NC State contacting Mike Leach (or his representative) is 100% inaccurate. For real news, stay tuned to CoachingSearch.com

I have learned that Clemson offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Chad Morris is a strong candidate to replace O'Brien. Morris is currently the highest paid assistant in college football, earning $1.3 million annually at Clemson.

Would be a terrible move. Equal programs but WSU has low expectations he'll be able to build. NC State actually thinks they should be good when they aren't

So much for 247 Sports ... Yow explicitly said she wanted someone who was an aggressive recruiter. Chavis doesn't fit the bill.
