Napier can't handle a big ole job like trying to build a Saban-like Dynasty at LSU. His name being thrown out there is just a damn diversion people!

No, it’s called being confident in yourself and being responsible for your actions. He’s not going to go into it setting himself up for failure. If he has a plan and thinks he knows what it takes to be successful then he should stick to his guns. You don’t get many chances to lead a big program so there’s no reason to bow down to the administration Bc when shite hits the fan it’s not like the university will stick up for him on hires they forced him to make.

Plus I'm not sure if I really like his offense or not - looks pretty boring. Regardless, that sunbelt conference is such a joke!!

Napier's offense is predicated on his personnel. He threw the ball a lot more at ASU, and Clemson. He does NOT have a traditional drop back passer. His offense changes with his personnel. Very simple. ....

dont believe the douche nozzle OP....he's stumping for Aranda hard - joined this cycle and wont shut up about him.

BASED ON WHAT LEGITIATE SOURCES HAVE SAID, Napier would literally pull the Kramer and say "Ill take it" before he heard the whole offer.

Look if Woodward hires Dave or Napier or Campbell or Riley...Im gonna be excite and cheer. Except BoB, frick him.

But really no need to start bullshite on a young guy from a local instate program because he's picking up momentum for LSU job.

Apparently Napier wants Saban type of full/total control, wants specific funds for recruiting, and specific amount for staff..

You mean he actually has a plan for building the program.. Man that's refreshing

This actually makes me a fan. If he can make Woody a believer then I’m down. Sounds like this mfr has a plan and a vision and knows what it takes to bring that vision to fruition.

I mean the guy did spend years under Dabo and then Saban. I’d imagine he knows the blueprint to building a successful program. If he can actually do it remains to be seen, but I’d be lying if I said it doesn’t intrigue me.

The fact that he has the balls to even ask these things of an AD at a big time program shows confidence, and that’s pretty much something that all the good ones share.

Saban did not have skins on the wall when he got to LSU. Go take a nap.

Like I said in my post if I’m wrong I’ll eat crow and if I’m right your banned for 30 days. That’s my confidence in my source. That’s if Napier gets the job. sure I would like to see Dave Aranda Get the job because I believe he is the better of the two coaches Napier Aranda. You’re OK to believe what you want as well as I

This is kind of my fear with Napier. "Saban did it". In that SI article, he said he implements 85% of what Saban does into ULL's program.

Does he really have self-confidence and know his worth? Or is he acting exactly like Saban just because that's what Saban did?

Great God we REALLY need to stop the Saban/Napier comparisons. Saban had a bunch more skins on the wall than Napier. DC in the NFL, head coach at two different colleges, including a power 5 school.

Guys I believe my source, he told me this is why Napier passed on the other three schools. I understand wanting full control , But to Napier on the front end to a big SEC School, no way . I can see giving full control to Jimbo or a Reily but not Napier.

Yes, but maybe, just maybe, he himself might actually be the author of it. Doesn’t need some jackasses around him to come up with ideas for him.
