I agree with what you’re saying in terms of skins on the wall. But maybe Napier thinks he much better and deserves it on the front end and not have to earn it. That is the crux, I’m telling you SW is not gonna agree to that.

Like I said in my post if I’m wrong I’ll eat crow and if I’m right your banned for 30 days.
what are we betting exactly? that Napier asked for full control...how can that be proved or disproved? GTFO
You may well have a Florida person telling you shite, but its just that - shite... they dont know nuthin. Hell the rumor about the Florida AD being in Lafayette was just a few hours ago
Your source meet him on the tarmac and then call you from the terminal???

Saban did not have skins on the wall when he got to LSU. Go take a nap.
I don't know what you consider skins on the wall, but winning the MAC in his only season, and beating Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State when they were all ranked in the top-5 was pretty damn impressive for a program that had been hammered by NCAA sanctions before he got there.

The Napier Derangement Syndrome brain trust has been triggered again. These are not the best and brightest.

laugh all you want, here’s the bet if Napier gets the job and we read through his contract and it says close to what I’m telling you you’re banned for 30 days. If he gets the job and none of what I said is in the contract or the agreement I’ll takeoff 30 days. No cut all your little childish shenanigans put your bet on the table??

Apparently Napier wants Saban type of full/total control, wants specific funds for recruiting, and specific amount for staff..

do you realize how absurd this sounds bruh???

dude you’re the one that started with all the flaky nonsense I believe my source. You came with all your crap not me. So I stand behind what I said. if we see it’s true you’re off for 30 days if it’s not true I’ll takeoff. Will let chicken ban either one of us.. Look I wish all this was over and yes I like Dave Aranda OK he did a great job at LSU And maybe you like somebody else that’s fine. I mean I voted for Trump went to sleep woke up and somebody stole my vote and gave the presidency to somebody else

He wants specific funds for recruiting? I’m sold!

At this point, if it's not Riley give me Napier and let's ride. He will crush the recruiting trial and has the potential to creat a dynasty unlike some of our other options who have NFL aspirations.

Napier acts like he's a fricking college coaching God. Good gracious
hes right.
knowing the recruiting budget is a good thing.
not to have to be begging alumni after the hire.
i consider his wish list a good thing.

Not really if you think about it, just say Coach Orgeron had 1 million set aside for recruiting expenses and $3 million for coaches, Just say Napier’s coming in he wants 2 million dollars for recruiting and $5 million for coaches in the contract. He wants complete full control who stays who goes nobody interferes with his decisions. Now are you trying to tell me that standard protocol ? I don’t think so. You’ve read this board long enough people are asking which coaches are going to stay.

In this case it’s actually called a plan. Lol.

I’m not disagreeing with Napier’s asking’s, I’m only saying he wants it in contract and complete full control. Remember he’s good friends with Nick Saban I’m sure his model program meaning Napier will try to run his the same. I agree I understand . what is SW willing ?? that’s the question
Posted on 11/22/21 at 5:18 pm to TheBaker
If you think that, then you don’t know a soul in coaching. The guy is well respected by pretty much everyone.

quote:Yes, without question. Might they go back and forth on the numbers? Sure. But that is part of every negotiation. Not everyone involved in these things are simpletons like Joe Alleva.
Now are you trying to tell me that standard protocol ?
