Going against the board on this one Napier is my 1st choice

Then Riley then Aranda

Napier above Riley is just illogical, no other way to cut it. It makes no real sense

Go spend some quality time at Vanderbilt, SMU, TCU Kansas, Utah or the like first. Then come see us. The Sun Belt is not a real test of success.

Riley is already talking to assistants to come with him to LSU? We are trying to find money to pay for his assistants?

If he wasn’t at Lafayette, the people barking the hardest for him currently wouldn’t even want him mentioned because he doesn’t have power 5 experience

The ULL thing is helping him way more than it is hurting him.

Aranda supposedly hasn't embraced recruiting and it's a concern.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Aranda was responsible for bringing Jacob Phillips, Ika, BJ and several others to LSU. Phillips was headed to OU if not for Aranda.

You don't have to be willing to rip your shirt off and cook a good gumbo to be good at recruiting.

it's a high upside, but there's also a higher chance of crapping out.
What was Arandas record last year at Baylor 2-8? yep that's proven

Aranda was responsible for bringing Jacob Phillips

Recruiting off campus for the first time in his career, Thomas, LSU’s general manager, secured a pair of Tennessee prospects and two of the Tigers’ highest-rated players in the Tigers' class: safety JaCoby Stevens and inside linebacker Jacob Phillips.

“All Austin,” Orgeron said. “He got Jacob Philllips. I knew (Austin) was going to be good, but those results are phenomenal. I didn’t know we were going to get those results.

No it isn't. He's getting legit looks from other schools. He's highly thought of.

I don’t know if Ed Orgeron is the person we want to look for in regards Dave Arandas job performance.

He’s gone out of his way to denigrate Dave’s role and diminish his contributions due to some underlying insecurities or personal disagreements about philosophy

Woodward offering Napier before Aranda is just a little bit better than Alleva shutting down the process in 2016 after only two weeks and hiring Orgeron.

LSU hired Woodward to get a much better coaching prospect than Napier. Aranda would be that guy. If we can't get Riley, Aranda would be fine. There are possibly others like Petersen that could also work. Napier is closer to the 2021 equivalent of hiring Orgeron in 2016.

So you mean to tell me if he was at, let’s say south florida or south alabama, and had the same success rate he’s had, that more people from LSU wouldn’t want him versus him being at little sister Lafayette?

Yeah, when dave aranda is the coordinator that helps.

It's not like austin thomas is was pulling these kids off of his own aura.
