All this LSU chatter is just doing what Napier wants, which is getting spotlights shined on him early for off season moves.

LSU would be a good place, per sources, but expect Napier to have bags packed with NFL bag tags on them at the end of the year.

Because he has fielded so many calls over the years from the NFL?

Please.

Stop.

Bama will do a search like Scott Woodward.

Wouldnt surprise me at all if Tomlin steps aside and Napier is the first call they make. Either the Steelers or the Patriots would be lucky to have him.

Other than being a basic nobody for the Saints... what did Joe Brady do to get an NFL OC job?? Oh yeah, guided LSU to a perfect season and National Championship.

And I didn't say HC position for Napier... did i?

The level of ‘making shite up’ is at a level not seen in at least a decade

I guess anything is possible, and I have no idea if LSU will even offer Napier the job, but no one is turning down the LSU head job for an NFL coordinator position.

I know he can coach, but isn't one of his biggest strengths also recruiting?
Can't do that in the NFL. Can see it translating about as well as Saban.
Definitely don't see him taking a coordinator position

Sure did but they were not a head coach.

Not an apples to apples comparison.

Your sauces are correct about the situation but with the wrong name.

That’s Mel Tucker

ETA: he thinks he has a really good shot at becoming an NFL head coach, especially with the drive to hire minorities in the league

Napier wants the Bama job, widely known

Whether he'd jump at LSU is an open question, but obviously it ends that dream for him. I would think he would - but who knows.
