I don’t think Freeman comes over. Either stays in Cindy, or goes to ND. Just my opinion.

Karl Dunbar, time to come back home. Or we can do Pete Jenkins for the 10th time, I’m sure he’s ready to come out of retirement again

Lacouture is such an uninspired hire IMO.

Lacoture would be a great hire. He’s a Tiger the HC is a DLine coach who will obviously help mentor. Word is he a great recruiter too.

Karl Dunbar is the best DL coach Alabama had under Saban. And it’s not close. But he’s an abysmal recruiter.

For a guy that seems to be infatuated with recruiting and 5 stars, I would think you would love Lacouture. By all accounts, he is a great young recruiter and was a major factor in landing Maason Smith.

He’s seems to be the next big thing.

Just because some internal hires are bad, not all of them are.

Development should be a big factor. All our defensive lineman in the past few years have been raw and lacking technique.

I think you're pretty close. Lacouture isn't ready for the big show just yet.

They will give Freeman a veteran coach who gives him the best chance to succeed.

Keep Lacouture around though :)

Oh my God. How many times does it have to be pointed out that we can only have 10 assistant coaches total! There is no room for Callaway. None.

Actually, this would be an interesting scenario.

I think LaCouture has 2 yrs. left that he can be a GA. And a lot of people say that most recruiting is done behind the scenes now days anyway; so bring in Dunbar to let LaCouture continue to learn under him and LaCouture do the recruiting, which people have said he is really good at.

Then in 2 years LaCouture has a resume of having played under Orgeron/Jenkins and coached under Orgeron, Johnson, and Dunbar. If he can't pick up enough from all of those great DL coaches to be a good coach, then he'll never be one.
