No sauce or anything.. but my gut is telling me Lane wants to be at LSU.

I’m sure his focus is on the season now, but I think the idea of getting the keys to LSU with full backing has to be extremely alluring.

Even in today’s crazy NIL world, LSU is still the better job to get players and big spots.
I have no doubt the money men in MS will put things damn near to the dollar as far as support for him at OM.. but KIFFIN said it himself this week that school pedigree still matters!

You don’t get pedigree at OM and I think he will have regrets turning this down which will make him take LSU.

My gut is telling me that he will be in Gainesville next year.

So where does that leave us?

I think Kiffin saw what Saban accomplished at Alabama and wants to be that successful, or better. The guy has the personality to rule LSU, and despite his spurts of immaturity, probably is the only guy out there that could be the next piece of the puzzle along with CJJ, CKM, with the next trophy in the case. I am not a Kiffin fan boy, I just feel like the momentum is going towards Kiffin's way, if you can keep from the NFL

I’ve always felt it’s been Kiff and Austin Thomas and Frank(since he coached under him) is doing all of the leg work with recruits and transfers.

I have a feeling there will be a lot of LSU fans when it’s not LK.Even more when it’s Alex Golish .

Im closer to most just by coaching peewee football and having a good friend that is super close to the coaching staff and its 100% not gonna be kiffen. Check my post on recruiting and you will understand why im saying anything about the kiffen BS. Look up Anthony Maddox and his kids and you will understand how i know the .01% about kiffen. Take it for what its worth. My buddy has 2 kids that play at Ole Piss and one that plays with Kiffens son at Oxford that i coached for a few years.
He was roommates with Pete Golding at Delta state and arr good friends to this.day. He played in the NFL and coached at JCJC in laurel for 10 years. He told me 1000% its not Lsu and that it may be Florida. Thats what hes told me. This is my "source" if you want to call it that.

Ok great then it’s settled Kiffin not going to LSU. Hopefully he makes it public soon so everyone on here can just move on.

You can’t even spell Lane’s name correctly. There are insiders who know Golding’s family personally on On3 and they like LSU’s chances. So…yeah, we’ll see.
