Miles is recruiting, plain and simple. Kind of an important job. In the meantime, he's trying to get the best possible coach in place.
I'm curious about whether Weiss staying on in South Bend will affect things one way or another. Tenuta could still have been in the mix. Maybe he still is if he's not happy there.

With so many coaching changes, big ones too, like Fulmer and Tubby and Crooms, and that's just in the SEC, that heck, if I'm Miles, I'm just sorting through all this turnover to see who is available and who it is he wants.
And really, keeping his mouth shut is much better than giving press conferences and leading us all along like the gullible fishies we all are.
