I love Hal Mumme's offense but there is no way he gets a look.

The guy at Oregon State would be a really good choice, I think. They do good things there..very solid fundamentally and well coached.

I done with Pac 10 guys after Crowton and their bullshite offenses. Give a a solid, power I coach with only a taste of the spread to liven things up.

Why not call Malhzan (however he spells his name)? I hate AU so LSU is a huge step up. He has to have been the most consistent OC in the college ranks the past few years.

I don't want Mahlzan's offense anywhere near the LSU program. That is a disaster waiting to happen IMO.

I don't see why Carmichael would come be LSU's OC when he is already an NFL OC and turned down the same position with Dolphins (and he would have called plays with Miami). Wouldn't he also have to take a pay cut to come here as an OC as well?

I'd be down for norm chow if he wants to leave the west coast

I'd bet he'd love to work with some talent again

A lot of PAC 10 teams are running pro-style sets these days.

USC, Stanford, and Oregon state are all pro-style O's and are successful PAC 10 teams right now.

I'd love Norm Chow as OC, but for full disclosure he's supposedly an a-hole and very difficult to work with. I don't see him and Miles having a good working relationship.

could want to get out of payton's shadow and call his own offense.

I wish cam cameron were available since he and Miles are very good friends.

Too much risk with Malzhan IMO. He may very well be a good OC, but I don't think taking the risk is necessary at LSU. There are a lot of other quality OCs out there without the baggage and "risk"

I know it's trending that way, but West of the Rockies still likes cooking up the Spread. I'm also going by wanting someone that goes against good defenses week in and week out.

Norm Chow would make my year. I can't see that happening though. I want it to..very badly, but I doubt it.
