Coach Miles is not going anywhere. He's often said he understands the criticism that comes from the Rant.

So LSU will have a good team like Texas!!! NO Thanks!!!! 3 people suck at Texas Brown, Muskrat and Davis!!!

Total Defense: LSU #9 / Texas #8
Rush Defense: LSU #37 / Texas #44
Pass Defense: LSU #4 / Texas #8
Scoring Defense: LSU #9 / Texas #51

Yea, Muschamp is really the problem in Austin...

Those stats tell me that there were lots of short fields because of offensive and special teams mistakes.

You don't have the #8 total defense and the #51 scoring defense without there being major problems in the other two phases of the game.

i hope this is bullshite. Miles needs to stay, Crowton needs to go. Muschamp can stay where he is at.

LSU has publicly stated for years that prior HC experience at a BCS- conference school is a prerequisite for any candidate.

That alone disqualifies WM.

I would welcome Muschamp with open arms.

Different people in charge at LSU now than when Miles was hired.Their stance on experience may be different. If Miles left Muscahmp and Malzhan would be at the towards the top of our list and neither have head coach experience. No need to keep rehashing fired head coaches like the NFL does.I personally don't want miles to leave nor do i think he is but if by some chance he did i don't foresee a problem with finding a good coach.not with our talent and rescources. Our job would be the prize this year and we have a program that is already built to win a NC.No other job in the country that will/could open up is as attractive as ours unless Meyer leaves Fla or Stoops leaves Oklahoma.I would argue that we're closer to winning a NC than Florida but their profile gives them the edge easily.Oklahoma is Oklahoma.

I could see talk about Arkansas for past tradition, but LSU? Come on! That's just absurd.

it makes more sense than Texas Christ-ian to the Big East, which is being reported as all sports, not just football.
I find that remarkable. Imagine taking that long plane ride to Providence RI, and Storrs CT,
in winter for hoops, volleyball.
I am astonished.

LSU is actually bordering TEX.

I would ask what they will pay.
LSU needs money.

TCU's AD was on ESPN today saying that the difference in travel costs and distance would be negligible. San Diego and Wyoming are not exactly a short plane rides either.

Maybe they would be good coaches, but I think a school of LSU's stature would be able to hire a coach with success at the head coaching level.

Muschamp has not impressed at Texas.

However if Michigan has to chose between Harbaugh and Miles, Miles may be the better option because you can be that Harbaugh would likely go to Michigan for a few years and on to the NFL.

If Miles went to Michigan he would finish his career there.

Recruiting no problem if we keep Frank Wilson. Wilson was brought here to save the recruiting and has done a GREAT job.

Yeah, despite all their problems, Texas still has the #2 defense in the Big XII.
