SC is mid tier team. Arky is bottom tier. Not difficult.

Is he considered a good coach?

Meh. Could be better for SC than us from a purely recruiting standpoint as his main area is Georgia.

He’s evidently a helluva recruiter, especially in the Atlanta area.

He’s South Carolina born and bred and grew up an SC fan.

He’s a good enough coach that Chad Morris held him over from the last staff.

He’s credited with recruiting and signing six in this year’s Arkansas recruiting class that Arkie fans are very proud of, and rightfully so.

SC was willing to payoff his buyout ... or rather provide him with the funds to do so.

mUSChamp loves his film ... the film of what his players do when he is coaching them.

He’s coached some good players and has NFL experience.

Much will be expected of him while he is here at SC. If he produces, much will be given to him. He wants to be here, he’s said this is his dream to come home and coach for SC. We were tired of Lance Romance Thompson’s yearly mercenary attitude.

Yeah that part’s not true at all. Steve Caldwell and Mark Smith landed almost all of the class. Scott was only the primary recruiter on Dante Walker who most likely isn’t going to qualify.

He should do better for y’all in ATL than us. He was a supporting recruiter not a main.

He got Nick Fulwider last year and Dante Walker (hasn’t signed - grades) this year. Mataio Soli was a legacy.

Caldwell had to sell Fulwider after being hired though to come.

Emmit Gooden and John Mincey we’re both his commits that decommitted/were parted ways with last year when new staff took over. Mincey was never going to stick late in the process so far away from GA and Gooden our new staff never talked to after being hired.

True, but the main reason he was held over was his truthfulness about the state of the program when Morris interviewed him. John didn’t sugarcoat anything previously and Chad respected how real he was.

Wrong. Steve Caldwell and Mark Smith are responsible for our DL class outside of commit Dante Walker. Caldwell - Clay, Soli, Gregory. Smith - Carter, Enoch Jackson. Lunney (in-state recruiter) - Z Williams, Miller.

Honestly the best thing South Carolina fans should be touting is the play of Armon Watts this year.

Technically this can only help Arky. Could the Pigs get any more worser? Is there a level below winless?
