I wouldn’t mind Joe Judge. He, of course, is a State alum and is held in high esteem in NFL circles. Two worries would be no head coaching experience and he’s been away from college coaching for a while.

Luke Fickell is another name being mentioned now. I don’t know how seriously he is considering the job though

Yeah but I think there was a bigger cultural issue that HC experience doesn’t really fix.

I think “cultural fit” is over emphasized. Dan Mullen was a yankee. Worked fine for ~10 years. The problem with Moorhead was the teams he put on the field that looked like a jv squad, not where he was from.
