There were times at the end of Lloyds tenure that fans were bitching about 9-4. It happens anywhere.

I don't mean that UM shouldn't have been bitching. I'm just saying 9-4 is better than what you currently have been getting, so if i were an UM fan I wouldn't use it against Miles in the hiring process.

However, I think UM goes in another direction if RR were fired after next year.

are these rumors you speak of something you read on TD?
From a Tennessee site:

The names that come to mind for me are the same ones that popped up when I thought Urban Meyer might be resigning as Florida's coach. I like Rich Rodriguez at Michigan, Bobby Petrino at Arkansas and maybe even Dan Mullen at Mississippi State.

Forget what Rodriguez has done at Michigan, where he clearly doesn't fit in.

Remember what he did at West Virginia.

No, I know. I guess I was saying it more for the fact that LSU fans are bitching about 9-4 when it could be a lot worse. We learned that the hard way after 3-9 5-7 seasons. So ya 9-4 would be a lot better, but you don't realize that I suppose until you've hit the bottom.

If Tenn wants to make a splash then how much better could it be than to bring in the Michigan coach after your guy left to be the USC coach?

Muschamp is a major question mark

RR is a proven HC in that region and allows them to save face
