She mocked Skip Bertman by saying that according to him no one has as much money as LSU. Now I'm really getting angry. . .

Correct. I believe he actually uncovered a bunch of mismangaement and poor spending...the man is one of the 100 most powerful people in the US, he dealt with a Shuttle Explosion and a Hurricane, I think he can handle this crap...

This is what's interesting. The longer this thing goes on, the better Miles to Michigan's chances get. I think all these interviews they are donig right now, such as the Ball State coach, are just smoke screens until January when UM can get Miles.

How did you interpret that as her mocking Bertman? He made a staement before that he didn't believe that Michigan can match what LSU can offer and that Miles wasn't about money anyway. He likes what he has here.
Where is she mocking Bertman?

let's be honest, LSU has no more money than michigan. just because michigan has been less likey to offer it in the past doesn't mean they don't have it.

No fire YET.

If this drags on without some definitive response from Miles or LSU within a day, this will be going on until Jan. 7.

If Michigan does not hire anyone until Jan. 7, the writing is on the wall.

Oh - and we will LOSE the national championship if the above happens. Mark my words. This distraction will be too much to overcome OSU's focus on beating an SEC team in their backyard to kill last year's demons.

Speaking as a worker who both experienced the Goldin and OKeefe years...I'd say Okeefe was HANDS DOWN better than Goldin. Okeefe didn't get run off from NASA, he resigned. However he was a hatchet man when he was named to the position....we all knew he'd cut the fat. As an Administrator he was very effective. Goldin was a Clinton flunkie, and didn't run NASA at all....it was actually being run out of JSC at Houston by a guy named George Abbey....center director there....and a person who looks like "Droopy".

This whole thing is Michigan making itself look like a desperate, dysfunctional bunch of clowns. Although it has nothing to do with Michigan academics, it will harm the reputation of the university as a classy, and first-class, institution.

Not Miles - the players!

Let's see...Pelini - gone.
Miles (if the above happens) - gone.

The players will have questions filling their heads instead of being able to focus on beating OSU.

This drama with this pressure will be too much to overcome.
