How do you know it was the right one? Who were the other candidates considered?
Chavis was a pretty good choice with the occasional egg being laid. He has made some good (Cooper, Pelini, Fisher) choices and some not so good (Mallory, Peveto, McCarthy, Searles, possibly Strud).
Hope he knocks it out of the park with this hire and the new OC will bring some others with him.

Miles has a couple skins on the wall now. He will hire a guy that is going to do whatever he says. Similar to the way Saban is with the d-cood at Bama.

Hope the new OC, either straightens up Strud or replaces him. Maybe GC will take him with him, but I doubt it.

Since Miles has had 3 different styles of offense at OkSt, LSU under Fisher, and LSU under Crowton, I completely disagree.
