If this is per ESPN, then I can ignore it, yes?

I think the opposite. If he treasures the UM job, its available now, and he should probably take it. The NFL will always be there unless he fails miserably at UM. If he doesn't take it now, he risks UM making a hire that pans out for the next 5,7,10 years, and risks never getting to coach at his alma mater. Similar to Miles....

Hurrricane, I don't want to start a fight, but why the man crush on a coach whose lifetime winning percentage is just a little over 50%?

Probably his last chance to get it. If I were in his shoes, with the heat he is taking here, I would go for it. If things didn't go well a few years in, it would be time to hang it up anyway.

I approve two types of coaches:
Smart and soft coaches
Mean and aggressive coaches

Our current coach is neither.
I know LSU has little shot for Gruden, but please let me dream.

i could have sworn he said this not long ago(in the last month)because he heard people had speculated he was a candidate for the job and wanted to quiet things down before the bowl game

He would be crazy to pass up the NFL. His stock will never be higher. But, I can see why he'd want to go to Michigan.

He would be stupid to pass up Michigan. NFL jobs are a dime a dozen, but the Michigan job may not open up again while Harbaugh is in his prime.

There is a Miles camp at UM though. "A Big House Divided" ...an article that came out last year stated that there was definitely a miles contingent at Michigan. Harbaugh would be a fool to pass on the job though.

A fool? Please the UM job isn't what it used to be. Won't be open again? Didn't I hear this 3 seasons ago?
