Eh, I don't really care how it is worded. Mallory wasn't fired. Peveto wasn't fired. Lane wasn't fired. McCarthy wasn't fired. It doesn't mean they would have been on the staff the following year had they not found another job/been reassigned within the athletic department/resigned.

Good, let them both stay. Then when they have another 100+ ranked offense with 8-9 wins, two of them by some other miraculous miracles they can both be fired.
