Mike Stoops: Multiple sources close to Stoops have informed us today that despite other offers, Stoops is locked in with Urban to be his defensive coordinator.

there's no way bob stoops gives venables the boot, even for his brother. venables left his alma mater at k-state (where stoops was an assistant coach as well) to coach with bob at OU. the only possible way mike stoops is DC at OU next year is if old man snyder retires from k-state and venables takes that job over.

yes .. because the oklahoma defenses under venables have been prolific and stifling the last few years !
