Mike MacIntyre will need a serious look by LSU

He's not flashy and he doesn't have the skins on the wall as other guys but if everything fails, he should be the backup plan.
I think he has more potential than O.
1. Herman
2. Fisher
3. Successful head coach at a P5 school (ex. Stoops)
4. MacIntyre
5. Ed Orgeron
6. Wildcard (ex. Aranda)

Don't hurt yourself thinking.

If you think Orgeron is a better coach than MacIntyre I feel sorry for you.

He's definitely improved CU but the Pac-12 is so garbage this year I can't put too much stock in their gains.

They played Michigan close for some time. 28-45 I believe. He has overhauled both sides of their lines and has gotten good QB play. He also has a secondary background like Saban had.

Crazy Fedora isn't on this list.. 7-2 with a win over FSU.. offense is very very good. Pair him with Aranda and see what happens.

He would be in that #3 slot. Successful head coach at a P5 school

I like macintyre. He got that thing turned around at Colorado and did it st San Jose state too. They won 10 his last year there which was unheard of.

Radio silence. If anyone hears anything it's simply grapevine. One man has control over it and it's Alleva. Everything is going through him.

He's built two programs now through recruiting and developing talent. His teams play inspired and they always get decent production even when there's a talent gap. I think whoever gets him down the road will be in a great spot.

He coached under bill parcells in Dallas too. Really good coach.

He looks like a coach who beats Oregon.

I'd have James Franklin up there at 3 or 4. He turned around Vandy and has Penn St. rolling right now.

MM >>> Herman when it comes to HC resume. If were looking for a PROVEN commodity at the head coach level, McIntyre should be top of the list.

Wut. He did a great job with San Jose, and has Colorado looking good this year. But how is that (>>>) better than the guy who's 20-3 at Houston, who was mediocre before he got there?

MacIntyre has been a head coach longer and has proven he can rebuild a program through recruiting and coaching so I guess that's what he means. Herman has proven a lot as well at Houston. I'd say their resumes are similar, really, with Herman having more skins for being an OC rather than HC.
