yea because the arkansas media is always reliable during coaching searches. Those guys are as clueless as most of the posters on this board. I believe we hire gundy, he wasn't the first choice, we didn't offer miles any kind of money figures just had a conversation and he leveraged it for a raise. Same kind of thing with Franklin. Patterson and Pettersen were our top two most likely.

From what I've picked up by reading comments from Arkansas fans here, no matter who they hire it will have been Jeff Long's #1 choice all along because Jeff Long is some evil genius AD who can do no wrong.
the hawg spin machine is working overtime. wonder who the next real #1 target will be once gundy is no longer available...

Randy Rainwater is pretty accurate the only one I really trust and the most knowledgeable radio broadcaster in our state also evident by his 300k+ salary.

No one on these boards actually knows what's going on behind the scenes. All we get is internet rumors and anonymous posters analyzing those shitty "sources." Who knows who Long's actual #1 target is and who he's offered the job to.

How about the past 10 years where he has only one 1
and you somehow think he is not the next Nutt?
His buy out is large, he has a connection to the past Razorbacks -- he will not be hired at least by Jeff Long

Read the OP. Said I believe it will start to leak tonight. Hell, he may decide to stay. A friend of mine does business with Todd France and Todd said around lunch today that he'd be surprised if Gundy wasn't gone by mid week. Most agents/coaching chatter is around his not being happy with his admin. he isn't interviewing with Arky and UT for leverage. He's looking for a solid out.

Yeah. From what I've read he has been pissed with the AD for a variety of reasons, including how hard it was to get an extension.
