I mean he may have put together some good secondaries in the past, but did anyone watch the games last season? Not sure I've ever seen a worse secondary anywhere than that.

The coaching staff that was here got us a .500 record the last 2 seasons. There's not one coach left who was a part of both those .500 seasons.

But hiring a guy like Cooks to coach the secondary when he's failed in his last 2 on field DB coaching roles doesn't make sense. Hire someone better

But, but, but, that doesn’t fit tRant narrative of Chernobyl-level melting at every step of this process.
If this is the truth (still if at this point), then so be it. We wanted a head coach who can make his own decisions and this is what comes of having one. If Kelly evaluated every position coach and tells those who didn’t make the grade to move on, I’m good with that.

If the DC fails, the DB coach fails. But that doesn't stick to Raymond just Cooks in rantard vision.
